#1 The event

What’s better than tasting and directly exchanging with a winemaker to learn all about his wine and craftsmanship? And all of this in a friendly, festive atmosphere and a dreamlike setting? That’s the promise of the Estivales du Rhône.
60 winemakers from the Côtes-du-Rhône and Côtes-du-Rhône ViIlages regions will come together in an open-air wine bar.
Admission to the event is free for everyone. A glass in the Estivales du Rhône colors is available for 5 euros, then winemakers sell their wines by the glass and bottles.
Gourmet stalls offering quality local products, and a juice bar will delight the whole family.

Open from 5pm to 10pm.

#2 AVIGNON, SATURDAY JUNE 17

Under the theme of Dance Music(s), arts and wines come together on the Palais des Papes square for a summer evening. As tastings unfold, music, dance, and performances emerge from the monuments and landscapes of the most majestic square in the Capital of the Côtes-du-Rhône.
Let yourself be carried away by the words, sounds, and vibrations of the artists and winemakers!

For the first time, six renowned chefs who have contributed to the reputation of the Côtes du Rhône vineyard are serving a gala menu, facing the Pont d’Avignon, the ramparts, and the Palais des Papes. A 200-meter-long table on the grass for a unique 4-course meal.

Your chefs:
Hailing from three departments of the Côtes-du-Rhône, they have created this unique menu for you :
Christian Etienne
Bruno D’Angelis
Michel Meissonnier
Serge Chenet
Eric Coisel
Baptiste Poinot
They have proudly represented the colors of the Côtes du Rhône in our region, at restaurants such as “La Mirande,” “Christian Etienne,” “Le Prieuré,” “La Vieille Fontaine – Hôtel d’Europe,” “Michel Chabran,” “La Magnaneraie,” and L’Hermitage Meissonnier.”

And they continue to write the most beautiful chapters of the Côtes du Rhône :
Serge Chenet, restaurant “Entre vigne et Garrigue” in Pujaut
Baptiste Poinot, restaurant “Flaveurs” in Valence
Bruno D’angelis and Eric Coisel as consulting chefs for numerous prestigious establishments
Michel Meissonnier and Christian Etienne share their talents with many students and the general public through cooking classes.

In the enchanting setting of the banks of the Rhône, we can reconnect with the traditions of popular river festivals by sharing the chefs’ table.
Entertainment for both young and old will punctuate the evening.
